Podiatry, Physiotherapy and Acupuncture Services

Podiatry and Chiropody

From everyday footcare to complex lower limb pain. We assess the cause, treat what we can immediately, and build a plan to prevent it from returning.
Common appointments: foot pain assessment, corns and callus, verruca care, nail problems, diabetic foot checks.

Physiotherapy

Assessment and treatment for musculoskeletal pain, especially lower-limb, hip and back issues, and sports injuries.
Treatment may include: hands-on treatment, exercise rehab, joint mobilisation and adjuncts such as acupuncture, cupping therapy, shockwave, and laser when appropriate.

Gait Analysis and Orthotics (Biomechanics)

If your pain keeps recurring, your gait, load patterns and footwear may be the main cause. We use gait analysis and digital foot scanning to understand stresses through your feet, knees and back, then recommend the right combination of rehabilitation, footwear advice and orthotics/insoles if needed.

Nail Surgery (Ingrown and Curved Toenails)

A quick, local anaesthetic procedure that can provide a long-term solution for painful ingrowing or curved nails, so you can get back to shoes, sport and day-to-day comfort.

Fungal Nail Treatment (Clearanail®)

A targeted fungal nail pathway, including diagnosis, testing where appropriate and a structured treatment plan. Clearanail® uses controlled micro-penetration to help topical treatment reach the infection more effectively.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture can be used as a stand-alone treatment (e.g., stress-related symptoms, sleep issues, overactive bladder, women’s health issues) or as part of a musculoskeletal plan to support pain relief (back, neck, shoulder, osteoarthritic knees, foot and ankle pain), recovery and rehabilitation.

How your care works (simple 3-step process)

  1. Assessment and diagnosis: we listen, examine, and explain what’s going on.
  2. Treat and relieve: we provide hands-on care and evidence-informed options tailored to your needs.
  3. Rehab and prevent: we provide targeted exercises, loading advice, gait and footwear advice, orthotics if needed or a temporary insole to get you back on your feet as soon as possible.

What to expect at your first appointment

You’ll be asked to complete a short health questionnaire so we can treat you safely and effectively. We’ll discuss your goals, examine the problem, explain the findings in layman’s terms, and agree on a plan.

Typical appointment lengths (varies by service):

  • Chiropody: 30–45 mins
  • Podiatry and physiotherapy assessment: 45–60 mins
  • Gait analysis: 45–60 mins
  • Physiotherapy: 30–60 mins

Patient stories and reviews

  • I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my big toe joint and fitted for orthotics. I have to say I was sceptical as to whether they would help alleviate the pain I was feeling when walking but have just returned from a walking holiday with no pain whatsoever. Great service, would recommend to anyone suffering with osteoarthritis in the foot

  • Recently I sustained a split nail on my big toe which caused me great concern as it is the first time that I have had problem with my feet and because I have diabetes type 2 which means that I have to be very careful around this area of my health.
The receptionist (sorry I didn’t get your name) was lovely taking the time to hear my woes and arranging for me to try and send pictures over to Claire who is one of the practitioners so that my fears could be allayed and I also booked an appointment in a few days time.
Unfortunately, the photos wouldn’t go through so it was arranged for me to go in for a cursory inspection that night, right at the end of their working day and I saw Claire who was brilliant!
Everything went fine and the follow-up treatment has worked a treat with Claire explaining everything for me and not being judgemental re the nail varnish I had put on after searching the internet! (it was the clear stuff). I found that there can be no substitute for professional advice and care and if the need arises I would definitely go back.
Thank you very much for such good service.

  • “I am very happy and grateful”
    Consultation

The treatment was excellent, from the moment we set foot in the clinic to after we left. We were welcomed by a kind secretary who offered us a cup of tea. The podiatrist was punctual and very efficient, making me do a number of short tests to identify the problem. Since I needed soles and my hotel was far from the clinic, the podiatrist went out of his way to prepare, on the spot, temporary test soles for me to try on and use for two weeks. Ever since, I have been wearing the insoles and doing the exercises, I feel much better. I have been suffering from my knees for 4 years and no doctor has been able to provide any kind of relief. I am very happy and grateful.”

  • “Good advice regarding foot care”
“Staff were friendly and efficient. Chiropodist was quick to review my health questionnaire and understand my problem and requirements. Chiropodist gave the impression of being knowledgable and was very professional in her approach. Treatment was carried out satisfactorily and good advice regarding foot care was given. A follow-up appointment was made.

This clinic was picked at random since I has not previously visited a chiropodist. My appointment was made without delay and I was seen at the time scheduled. My first impression was that the clinic was clean and comfortable. Similarly, the treatment room was clean and well laid out.”

  • “I left happy and relieved”
“A history of ongoing foot pain led me to sourcing out someone who could identify the problem and offer treatment.

I was met by a professional who was kind caring and accommodating of the fact I had to bring a little one with me. She was thorough and took time to explain what she was going to do and why. I left happy and relieved that I had found someone who could offer me a plan of treatment and had got straight on with the therapy.”
